what are some sites that show house rental listings that are NOT vacation rentals?

What is a good website that lists just house or cottage home rentals, cheap? The only ones I found either seemed to be scam sites or just showing vacation rentals. Thanks!

I also have section 8 housing so id hope that they would accept that aswell.. ive looked around everywhere and cant find a decent site or any in the newspaper with good rentals in my area. If you have the ability to fins specific listings those would help too! thanks so much

Do all real estate agents need to find their own listings?

I’m interested in real estate. But I would like to work more with rentals and condos. I was wondering do I need to find my own listings for rentals as well? Don’t tenants usually come to the re office to list their apartments? I didn’t want to sell houses because then I would have to find my own listings. How would you find listings other than fsbo or expired mls. I’m not a loud talkative person or a salesperson. I like to work more with the buyer. Help them find a home or an apt. Do re offices still hire buyer’s agents and if so how successful could you be as that?

yes all agents find their own listings. I wish I could tell it was easy but it takes a lot of talking to get these listings. phone calls and more phone calls.

maybe after 15 years or so you will get enough referral business but not for a long time.

you need a mix of listings and buyer clients. listings lead to more business so it is important to have listings. no one can make big money working with buyers alone.

My mom and I have been trying to find a home to rent for a good while now, we are in a rental house at the moment but the rent is just too high and the space is very limited. I have looked at all the local listings from businesses but of course the prices are outrageous. We are very responsible people and work very hard to keep the houses in great shape, were at a loss of what to do. Is there anyone in the South Boston/Halifax area that has a house they would like to rent out? I know yahoo isnt the best place to ask this, but nothing else seems to be working. Id appreciate any information. Thank you

I am looking for a rowhome, not an apartment. I am also not looking to buy a home right now. Are there any listings or web sites dedicated mostly to advertising rental homes or foreclosed rentals in DC?

Washington, D.C. covers a lot of territory. Here is a summary site of available rentals. However, there is no specialized site that ONLY lists row homes or foreclosed rentals, the latter of which are usually offered for sale for new owner occupancy.

We just sold our condo, and we haven’t decide if we’re going to build a house or keep looking for the house of our dreams, so in the meantime, we are going to rent a home. What is a good website to find the most up-to-date listings on? I’ve been checking CraigsList and Realtor.com so far.

How to look for a rental home long distance?

I’ve been looking at craigslist for the area I’m moving to, but there are so many scams on there it seems unreliable. The local news paper doesn’t have online listings for rentals and I don’t have access to the hard copy in a timely fashion (usually takes 3-4 days for shipping to my current location). Are there other resources where landlords advertize their rentals online?

I’m will to pay a small membership fee for a website or house hunter, not more than $100 total, though.

Property management companies manage homes for rent. Contact several of them and see what they have available.

Alright I used to look at a website that had compiled listings from craigslist, hotpads, olx, move and other local rental agencies in one website. Does anyone know what that website is? I am moving again and I dont want to only rely on craigslist, but I have no idea what the name of the other website was.

What does the fraction mean in an apartment rental listing?

Example: "$750 / 3br – 5 1/2 for rent"
When browsing craigslist in my home city of Vancouver, I never see people do this, but when browsing listings for Montreal, most of them have fractions on the end like that. Sometimes it is typed as a decimal (5.5, 2.5, etc). I’ve determined that it is not describing the number of bedrooms or bathrooms. What does this number mean?

i’ts the number of room in the appartement. The bathroom is the .5 so example (1bedroom,living room,kitchen and bathroom) we will say a 3.5 for the same type with 2 bedroom it’s a 4.5 and the 3 bedroom is the 5 1/2
