I am looking for a 3 bed home for rent in the sacramento or west sacramento ca area … the only place im having any luck for listings is Craig’s list… where can i find a good listing of homes for rent…. it has to be a house… NO apartments
Try realtor.com. They have rental units as well as real estate for sale.
i;m trying to buy my first home. whats the best way to find a flat for sale without
1) walking miles finding the perfect location and finding out its where the sultan of brunei lives so will be way too pricey
2) going through loads of estate agent listings
Also how do I
1) find places before they go on the market
2) buy without going through agents? i.e. privately

It is nice to look around at lots of different areas so that you have an idea of where you want to live. In my area there are several websites that allow you to see information about the houses listed for sale with every agent not just the one that sponsors the website-and you can look by price or school or zip code! That way you can narrow it down to what you like.
If I don’t have my house on the market, that means I am not advertising and don’t tell anyone about it being for sale. So by definition you won’t find out about it.
It would be foolish to not use an agent. You asked "what is the best way to find a home to buy?" The answer is with a good agent.
I am a licensed real estate agent in the state of Missouri. My company called The Vizion Group currently has several newly remodeled homes available for sale in the Kansas City area. We advertise with small signs around the city but I am wanting a stronger web presence. Does anyone have any ideas for me?
Craigslist is good, but you have to repost often, so save your ad so you can copy and paste.
I see some agents advertising in Zillow.
Do you have any local websites that have a good web presence? Try the local free ads, the online newspaper, any free want ad sites.

I have been a yahoo user for about 8 years. I have never had an issue with the website or it’s services until recently and have discovered there is no way to contact Yahoo! I’m hoping this will let them know that nothing happens when you click on the yahoo! realestate buttons. We are thinking of relocating for his job and would like to search home listings. It’s the only link, I’ve found, that doesn’t work. Please try to fix it. Thank you, oh and, I Yahooooooooooooo!

Our house is due to go on the market tomorrow and I really don’t want to include our new refrigerator because it’s not even paid for yet. It’s one of those ones with the french doors, ice maker and freezer on the bottom. All of the other appliance in the kitchen are new also, but they are paid for. I’ve seen listings for homes that don’t include a refrigerator, but I’m wondering what the average person would think. Would this prevent you from buying the house? Thanks!
Thinking back over the houses I’ve owned, I can only remember one that came with the refrigerator. Most of the time, we’ve either moved the one we owned (and what a pain that was!) or bought a new one to go with the new house.
I wouldn’t worry about this turning off prospective buyers. Just make sure, as others have already mentioned, that your listing states VERY CLEARLY that the refrigerator is not included in the sale.
Hi there, I’ve been recently unemployed, and want to find work at home employment. Now I’ve checked many of the "free" sites that have lists of jobs, but most of them are crappy surveys, and the legit work at home employment listings are usually out of date, or already taken.
Anyone have any good experiences (or bad) with finding work at home employment?

The 8k credit is enticing… I asked a banker at citizens bank, and she sorta laughed… She said "No, Citizen Bank doesn’t do that. We just sell the homes to a company."

i know bank of america list their foreclosures on their website but it doesn’t include all of them they are so backed up.

Call a Realtor, find a good one, don’t go in for these online "Lists" there is no official list, but every time there is a foreclosure the law states that notice must be posted on the premise. This notice will also state how much is owed on the mortgage. There is no substitute for actually being there. Learn what the notice looks like, look for abandoned, unkept looking houses. Don’t be afraid to talk to the neighbors, they know more about it than anyone. many times when a Realtor lists these properties, they will keep it as a pocket listing for their investors to take a crack at it, sometimes there will be no sign. Work with a Realtor to look at the comps in the area, so when the deal comes, you will be able to make a quick decision.
I have dark circles under my eyes (inherited) and I would like to know if anyone has used creams that most definitely work. Thre are too many to choose from, and at these prices, It’d be nice to get something that works!
